  • GWMME (Google Workspace Migration for Microsoft Exchange) for Admin-driven, batch PST imports.

Now, wait till the tool prompts that migration is completed. Remember, this only works for small users’ data, and each message contains below 25 MB of data, including attachments, PDFs, and other data. Otherwise, Gmail won’t allow you to import data if it exceeds the limits.

#Solution 2. Migrate PST to Google Workspace Via GWMME

  • Place PSTs in the expected folder structure: Top-level folder > user folders > PSTs.

  • Contacts, calendars, rules, tasks, and auto-complete lists don’t migrate properly with many methods especially IMAP/manual.
  • Gmail’s label-based system can cause mismatches, duplicate labels, or missing folders common across all tools.
  • If a PST file is slightly damaged, most tools fail or skip data without clear warnings.
  • GWMME and Google Workspace Migrate required technical expertise and user-mapping which may not be reliable for tech-savvy users.
